Welcome to the Honoring Our Ancestors Bi Annual Gathering web site.

This is a Bi Annual gathering which will be held each year in a different location. We will randomly choose an area and Nation or Nations where the event will be held each year.


Honoring our ancestors is a cooperative effort by several different Nations. We hope to increase the participation of other Nations each year.

This is not a Pow Wow.

There will be featured speakers. Some to be announced here and some to be announced at the event.

There will be seminars and workshops on several different subjects.

There will be social time for friends to meet with old friends and make new friends as well.

NOTICE:
There will be no charge to attend this event.

Rules are simple;
There will be NO vending.
NO Intoxicating Beverages or Drugs will be allowed.
No Firearms will be allowed.
No Disorderly behavior

Violators will be escorted from the premises.

Focus On Unity!!!!!

With the situations as they are today, we need unity more than we have ever needed it before. The need to remove barriers from between us is stronger than it has ever been in the past.

The world as we know it is about to change forever. If we are to survive these changes we will have to learn to work together.

We have many different kinds of gatherings, and events. Many are good and many are excellent.

What we seem to have a shortage of is time just for us to get to gather.

If we are to remove the barriers, then we have to have time between Nations with no outside influence. We have to LEARN to like and reust each other and know each other. We need social time together. Time to make friends and build those strong alliances.

If you feel the same way, then we NEED YOU to help us.

What we are hoping to accomplish is no small feat. It will take the efforts of many people working together to make this happen.

A few can not do this alone...Nor should it BE that way...It should be many working together. It should be a unified effort that will cement the Unity to come.

So if you feel as we do, then let us know...You do not need special skills, you just need the desire to help and the drive to see it through.

We have had a set back, but we will not accept defeat!

Mission Statement

It is our hope that these gatherings will provide an opportunity for members of different Nations to meet and discuss issues that are important to them and share ideas for solutions.

We hope that it will bring an opportunity for many to make new friends, meet old friends, and develop unity between First Nations People from all across the entire continent.

We look forward to the combining of efforts of many people to build an even more exciting gathering each year.
